Responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests and creating a welcoming and successful sales environment
- Pouring wine for wine tastings resulting in sales
- Successfully selling wine club memberships
- Bartending and tending to guest tables while focusing on sales and customer service
- Basic food preparation as necessary to fulfill guest orders
- Conducting offsite wine tastings as needed
- Assisting guests both in person and over the phone
- Hotel bookings, in person and over the phone
- Provide concierge and valet service as needed
- Management of a cash register with accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist with Inventory management
- Cleaning, stocking and miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Successful and proven sales experience is a MUST
- Outgoing personality and ability to create a friendly sales atmosphere
- Outstanding customer service and people skills
- Basic wine knowledge and the desire to learn more
- Bartending and serving experience a plus
- Excellent work ethic, dependable, honest and dedication to the team
- Motivated self-starter, quick learner and multitasking is essential
- Excellent communication skills, and positive enthusiastic attitude
- Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays
- Must maintain a valid California driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to pass drug and background check
