William Cunningham
William Cunningham was Edna's father (Steve's great-grandfather) and also had a love for ranching. William grew up on a 160-acre ranch in Windsor where his family grew Zinfandel and Alicante grapes. Eventually he took over the ranch himself and developed elaborate winery facilities. He was active in the community and served as the Sonoma County Supervisor for 8 years. He was also a prominent and influential early member of the Wine Syndicate grower co-op and produced and bottled 8,000 gallons of commercial wine. |
